Childhood series
Hello everyone! I hope you're doing great.
In this post I'm going to talk about my favourite series as a child, and in reality, a show that is still one of my favourites.
When I was very little, I admired my older brother, and a lot of time I passed aside his room, I watched him look at the Simpsons.

My brother and my parents always told me that that show wasn't meant to be watched by kids, but I didn't want to be seen as a kid, so I watched The Simpsons in secret, when everyone was out or asleep.
In the biggining I loved it because it made me feel more connected to the adult world, but as I grew up it sincerely became one of my favourite shows because of it's funny script and puns, the creativity in it's storys, and also because I agree with it's political point of view.
The Simpsons are really funny, but they also criticize the US political history, it's conservative society and the problems of the capitalist economy through the satire, and the way that the characters are built.
The chapter that I love the most is one where they go to a carnival, and Lisa goes to a fortune-teller, that tells her how is her future going to be. Most of the chapter is setted in the future.
Despite the fact that I don't like very much the latest seasons, The Simpsons are today one of my favourite TV shows.
